Broadway Square is an enormous complex that takes up several city blocks. It looks like 4 or 5 communities that has been merged into one. The main buildings of the community have a French Quarter inspired feel with black wrought iron lattice and Chateau style roofing. The property is in fine shape with some sections being nicer than others. The grounds have trees and decent landscaping but there was litter from the residents during our inspection. While the property is gated at each section, more than half of the gates were broken. There are 10 pools spread throughout the property. Since the property is so large they offer several different styles in each floor plan. Some units have been renovated while some still have the basic features. Some units have standard carpet, fixtures and appliances (older), which present a very average appearance. Other units have been upgraded with wood laminate flooring and newer carpet and appliances. Some units have washer/dryer connections and most units have large patios and balconies.
