(This allows us to properly clean the room.) o During the application process, the rates will be for the new 2019-2020 leasing season and they will automatically be sent a lease with dates of 8/24/19 to 8/1/20. THIS IS THE WRONG LEASE TO SIGN. o Advise this prospective resident to NOT sign this lease, but wait until management overrides the dates and rate to reflect the current residents rate and correct date of move-in. o By using the TAKEOVER2020 promo code when applying, management will know that you need a revised lease sent. During the signing of the application and filling out of the Roommate Matching Card, under Special Considerations the prospective resident MUST put the current residents name and apartment number + letter. Once the lease is signed, the prospective resident will need to notify us if they plan on paying a security deposit (and signing of the security deposit addendum), OR obtaining a guarantor.
